What does it mean to heal? Healing is defined as the process of making or becoming sound or healthy again. That process is different for each of us. Sometimes we hear or see what others are doing and expect it to work for us. Our healing is an individual journey that can be witnessed and supported by others. I am here to assist you in identifying what that journey looks like for you. I am here to witness your healing and to cheer you on even when it feels too hard.
How do I support it? It starts with creating a safe and inclusive environment that welcomes all aspects of who you are. We carry many different social and political identities that intersect within and outside of us; whether conscious or not, they impact our lives. My role is to help you explore challenging, painful, and everyday topics in our sessions.
